Votive Stands & Offering Boxes

A votive stand holds the candles parishioners light before a statue or shrine, and an offering box collects the stipend and prayer intentions beside it. Stands here are wrought iron with a black powder coat, holding 15 or 25 glass votive lights, around 38 to 40 in tall. One stand has a built-in locking offering box; one is electric for rooms that bar open flame. The standalone box is lockable wood with a wall mount.

Count the candles the parish burns on a typical weekend. A 25-cup stand suits a Marian shrine in a parish church, while the 15-light leaf stand fits a small chapel with little floor space. Where offerings are collected at the shrine, the Christian Brands stand with locking box saves a separate box. Care homes, schools and churches with fire restrictions can use the electric stand. The Amcortn box serves a narthex for prayer requests.

Questions before you order

How many votive cups does a parish shrine need?

A single 25-cup stand serves a typical parish Marian or saint shrine with weekend traffic. Larger parishes place two stands or add a second shrine. A 15-light stand is enough for a chapel, adoration room or a small side shrine.

Are candles and glass included with a votive stand?

No. The stands here hold glass votive lights or inserts that are bought separately, and the maker states this for the leaf stand. Order glass globes and the votive candles or refills that fit them before setting the stand up for use.

What about wax, sand and taper storage?

The 38 in Christian Brands stand includes a hanging sand box and a box for lighting tapers. Locking rear access allows emptying of spent cups. Wipe drips from the powder-coated iron with a dry cloth while warm; scrape hardened wax gently with a plastic edge.

How is a wooden offering box mounted and secured?

The Amcortn box comes with a wall-mount block and hardware that holds it slightly off the wall so the lid opens. It can also stand on a table. It locks with a key and ships with two keys; keep one in the parish office.
